Joy Davenport, Generation Dolls Blog
Welcome, I’m Joy Davenport of Our Generation Dolls Blog, a doll enthusiast and mother of girls with a love for generation dolls, American dolls and Waldorf dolls.
This blog started for us when many American Girl (AG) dolls accessories, Our Generation Dolls, baby doll accessories were hard to find or in need of repair. I would search online and found various places had little choices and a comprehensive line of products of Our Generation Dolls, American Girl Dolls and 18 inch clothes. I became tired of saying “I can’t find it.”
So we started Generation Dolls Blog. To help with buying dolls and accessories. Also there are doll maintenance issues that arise. Sometimes our daughters will want to take care of their doll’s hair and protect the hair from damage. My daughter loves to brush the dolls hair. This blog will provide some suggestions and tips on how to care for hair and clothes and other doll repair.
Recentlly we have readers who have expressed interest in Waldorf dolls and little mommy doll which, in general are soft. They are usually stuffed with fleece so are very nice and soft. Some folks have actually made these dolls and we feature from time to time some tips and stories of a Waldorf doll in the making. Success of course is measured in your girl’s love and playtime, so not necessarily in the perfection of the stitch.
Generation Dolls Blog buys and sells Generation Dolls, American Girl dolls and Friends. We also feature Doll Accessories, 18″ dolls, including American Girl, Big Ann Estelle, Big Betsy McCall, Our Generation, and Waldorf Dolls.
Our children’s lives are enriched by the creative and imaginative play with dolls. We believe in good-old-fashioned, enchanting, dreamy, sturdy and safe, and best of all, FUN. Please leave us a comment and let us know how we can help or share your stories with us.
Sincerely,
Joy Davenport
